Assignment 2

Research the Holocaust in World War Two and understand what werethe horrible things that happened. Use the three web-sites given to have a good overall understanding of the main developments leading to the terrible human tragedy. Analyse what happened in Germany and the subsequent killing of the Jews and Minorities in Europe during World War 2.

Present your main findings to the class. Here are the questions that you need to touch on for your presentation:

1. Provide a summary of the Jewish Holocaust. It may be useful to include things such as historical time lines, a profile of the main players in the conflict and its impact on the country.
2. Using what you had learnt from your group's research, present the KEY reasons that led to the conflict becoming full-blown.
3. What do you think were the most important reason OTHER THAN RACE in this conflict.
4. What were your group's thoughts/opinions after having done this research. You can also comment on any thing/point that you had unearth that you can link to your understanding of our society here in Singapore.
